Front-wheel drive, B18. The car in the skid-and-slide video.

A4 1.8T quattro (B5)

All-wheel drive, 1.8-litre turbo, straight pipe. The only all-wheel-drive car of the four.

Maple Leaf Rally Club, Bancroft

The rallycross events ran on the club's course near Bancroft, Ontario, on gravel and snow. Timed runs, one car on course at a time, six runs per driver on a typical day.

What rallycross is. A closed course on gravel, dirt or snow, driven one car at a time against the clock. Street cars with a helmet and a tech inspection. No wheel-to-wheel contact, which is the point.
