Keeping gears turning and wheels rolling.
We are a community of car people. JDM to old iron, road trips to paddock days, the stuff that runs and the stuff that almost does. If it has an engine, it belongs here.
The garage
Machines that made the cut
Two dozen vehicles since the first licence. Some kept, some traded for a boat, one raced in Bancroft until it wouldn't. The full ledger and the stats live on the garage page.

Acura Integra Type R
Hand-built B18C5, 8,400 rpm, the best front-wheel-drive car ever made. Not up for debate.
In the garage
Subaru WRX "Spec R1"
Bugeye with JDM STI sway bars, Genome muffler, coilovers, an Accessport tune and a paint job that stops traffic.
Read the build
Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40
Diesel, leaf springs, and a to-do list longer than the driveshaft. The long project.
Project log
Epic driving roads
Tarmac worth the tank of gas
From the Forks of the Credit an hour north of Toronto to Hakone Turnpike outside Tokyo. A running list of roads that reward a good gearbox, with the season to go and what to watch for.

Wrenching in public

BJ40 back to the road
Engine refresh, brakes and lines, hubs, suspension, body work, ARB lift, tires. In that order, mostly.

Grand Prix gearbox out
A 1978 Pontiac that arrived by boat trade, dropped its transmission, and taught everyone about TH350s.

2.5RS to World Rally Blue
Rust repair, floors and quarters, STI seats and dash, roll bar, a parts car and a paint booth.
Paddock
Cars in the paddock
Showroom floors, race paddocks, that one gallery with a Countach in the lobby. Metal we didn't own but couldn't stop photographing.

How we roll
Drive them
A car in a bubble is furniture. Winter tires, a full tank and a reason to leave the city beat a trailer queen every time.
Fix them
Every one of these arrived needing something. Learn the job, buy the tool once, keep the receipts, share what you learned.
Trade them
A boat for a Pontiac. A Civic for a tow. A 4Runner for shop credit. The best deals aren't on marketplaces.
Bring people
Nobody drives Ottawa and back with a U-Haul trailer alone. The crew is the point.
